4-Year-Old Killed in Highland Car Accident on East Freeway

Houston, Texas (May 22, 2019) – A child was killed in a crash involving a big rig truck on Wednesday morning in Highland, according to police.

The incident happened at about 7 a.m. on the East Freeway.

Authorities said an 18-wheeler and a sedan were involved in the crash.

The impact of the collision pushed the sedan off the side of the freeway.

A 4-year-old girl riding as a passenger in the sedan was killed in the collision.
