Man Injured in Edna Pedestrian Accident on South Wells Street near South East Street

Edna, Texas (May 26, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a car on Friday night in Edna, according to a report by the Edna police.

The incident took place at about 11 p.m. Friday, May 24, on South Wells Street near South East Street.

A man was reportedly walking on South Wells Street when he was struck by a car.

The man was flown to Memorial Hermann hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The identities of the parties involved in the crash were not immediately released.
