1 Killed in Houston Car Crash on Interstate 45
Houston, Texas (May 2, 2019) – A fatal collision involving three vehicles left one of the drivers dead early Thursday morning in Houston, according to the authorities.
The crash took place at about 1:30 a.m. on I-45 North near Tidwell.
According to the authorities, a car traveling southbound on the I-45 North slammed into the guardrail for unknown reasons.
Another driver then crashed into the wrecked vehicle and fled the scene. The first vehicle was subsequently hit by a third driver who stayed at the scene.
The driver of the first vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene after both vehicles caught fire.
The condition of the driver who remained at the scene was not released.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
