Daniel Wood Killed in Martin County Accident at Industrial-Based Crown Quest Operation

Martin County, Texas (June 22, 2019) – A worker was killed in an industrial accident on Friday in Martin County, police said.

The accident occurred on Friday, June 21, at the Midland–Based CrownQuest Operating location.

Martin County Sheriff’s Office said Daniel Wood, 45, was picking up oil from a tank battery when his vehicle hit and damaged an electrical box. When wood stepped out of the vehicle, he was electrocuted.

Wood suffered grave injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.

The incident remains under investigation.
