Man Killed in Corpus Christi Motorcycle Crash on Staples Street and Curtis Clark Drive

Corpus Christi, Texas (June 2, 2019) – A man in his 50s was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening in Corpus Christi, as per a police report.

The incident was reported at about 5:00 p.m. June 1, on South Staples Street and Curtis Clark Drive.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said a man in his 50s was riding his motorcycle on Staples Street when a pickup truck traveling on Curtis Clark Drive made a turn in front of the bike, leading to the collision.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
