Child Hospitalized after Southwest Houston Pedestrian Accident on Hearth Drive

Houston, Texas (April 11, 2019) – A child was struck and injured by a vehicle in southwest Houston on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.

The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, on Hearth Drive.

Police said a Longfellow Elementary School student had just gotten off a bus when a female driver went around the bus and hit the child.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating the incident.
