Progreso Woman Dies in Progreso Car Crash on FM 1015
Progreso, Texas (April 9, 2019) – A woman was killed in a collision between two vehicles on Monday morning in Progreso, according to a report by the Progreso Police Department.
The wreck took place on FM 1015 Monday, April 8.
Police said a woman was trying to merge out of a subdivision into FM 1015 when her SUV was hit by an oncoming dump truck.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was only identified as a Hispanic female aged between 65 and 72.
No one else was injured in the collision.
Police said the weather is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
