Man Injured in Garland Pedestrian Crash on Action Street

Garland, Texas (May 11, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday afternoon in Garland, according to the Garland Police Department.

The incident occurred at about 12:45 p.m. May 8, in the 4300 block of Action Street.

Police said the man was on a ladder trying to tie a vehicle to a trailer when a minivan hit him.

The driver of the minivan reportedly stopped and checked on the victim before going back and fled the scene of the incident.

The victim was was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.

The garland Police Department is conducting an investigation and is calling upon anyone who may have any information to call the department at  972-272-TIPS (8477).
