Man Hospitalized after Port Arthur Bicycle Crash on Memorial Boulevard

Port Arthur, Texas (April 16, 2019) – An elderly man was transported to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Port Arthur on Monday night, according to a police report.

The incident took place just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in the 2600 block of Memorial Boulevard.

Police said a 70-year-old man was riding his bicycle when a vehicle struck him.

The victim was rushed to Christus St. Elizabeth’s Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle involved was not injured in the collision.

Police are investigating the incident.
