Six Hurt in Monticello Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-10 East

Monticello, Texas (May 15, 2019) – A multi-vehicle collision occurred Tuesday afternoon leaving six people injured near Monticello, according to the El Paso Fire Department officials.

The incident took place at about 4:21 p.m. May 14, on I-10 East.

The officials said five vehicles, including a semi-truck and another truck attached with a trailer were involved.

Six people were transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered serious.

The crash caused a closure of I-10 East as the scene was examined and cleared.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
