Students Injured in Polk County Bus Bus Crash with Car on US 59

Polk County, Texas (April 29, 2019) – Five students were injured when a Corrigan-Camden ISD School bus was involved in a collision with a semi-truck in Polk County on Monday morning, according to the DPS.

The collision happened at about 7 a.m. on US 59, south of Moscow.

The DPS report showed that the school bus had its lights on as it was preparing to stop and was rear-ended by a semi truck.

Eight students were on board the bus at the time of the crash. Five students were treated for minor injuries.

The school bus driver and the driver of the semi truck were not injured.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
