Two Hurt in Seguin Car Crash on FM 725

Seguin, Texas (June 21, 2019) – Two people were injured in a collision involving a big rig on Thursday afternoon in Seguin, according to a local news source.

The wreck was reported at about 12:58 p.m. Thursday, June 20, on FM 725 at the Interstate 10 underpass.

According to the news source, a Mazda 3 was traveling southbound on FM 725 when it made a turn onto I-10 and was hit by a northbound 18-wheeler.

The passenger in the Mazda was trapped and had to be extricated by the firefighters.

The Mazda passenger was airlifted to Ascension Seton Hays in Kyle.

The driver was also transported to Seton Hays for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
