One Hurt in Lubbock Traffic Accident on University and South Loop 289

Lubbock, Texas (May 15, 2019) – One person was hurt when a car T-boned a big rig at an intersection in Lubbock Tuesday night.

According to the Lubbock police, the crash was reported at about 10 p.m. May 14, at the University and South Loop 289 intersection.

Police said a red car crashed into the side of a semi-truck at the intersection.

One person sustained moderate injuries and was attended to by the responding EMS.

It’s’ unclear whether the patient was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The crash is under investigation.
