Woman Dies in Fatal San Antonio Train Crash on Villaret and Gillette Avenues

San Antonio, Texas (April 30, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a train on Monday morning in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported at about 3:30 a.m. April 29, near Villaret and Gillette avenues.

The San Antonio Police Department said the woman was struck by a Union Pacific train on the tracks.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released.
