Woman Killed in Pinn Road Pedestrian Crash in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas (April 17, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle near an elementary school on San Antonio’s West Side Wednesday morning, according to the authorities.

The incident happened at about 7 a.m. at 1706 Pinn Road near the Cable Elementary School.

Police said a woman in her 20s was struck by a car in front of the school.

The victim was rushed to University Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased shortly after.

Investigators said the woman was struck on a dark and unlit section of the road.

The crash remains under investigation.
