Ravis Gray ID’d as Man Injured in Garland Pedestrian Crash on Action Street

Garland, Texas (May 11, 2019) – The man who was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday afternoon in Garland has been identified as Travis Gray, 29, according to the Garland Police Department.

The incident occurred at about 12:45 p.m. May 8, in the 4300 block of Action Street.

Police said Gray was on a ladder trying to tie a vehicle to a trailer when a minivan hit him.

The driver of the minivan reportedly stopped and checked on the victim before going back and fled the scene of the incident.

Gray was was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.

Police were able to trace and arrest a suspect with the help of a surveillance video and witnesses. The suspect, identified as Miguel Angel Castro, 35, of Dallas, was arrested in the 13,400 block of TI Boulevard in Richardson.

The crash is under investigation.
