One Killed, One Injured in Dallas Truck Collision on I-35E

Dallas, Texas (May 6, 2019) – One person was killed and another injured when a tow truck and a vehicle collided in Dallas early Monday morning, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.

The collision occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 35E near Empire Central.

The authorities said a tow truck and another vehicle crashed into each other in the southbound lanes of I-35E and the impact caused the tow truck driver to lose control.

The truck then crashed through the guardrail and slammed into a tree along the service road.

The driver of the tow truck died at the scene.

The other driver was hospitalized for their injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
