Man Critically Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash at South Zarzamora and West Harlan

San Antonio, Texas (May 21, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver early Tuesday morning on the Southwest Side, according to San Antonio police.

The incident was reported around 12:35 a.m. in the area of South Zarzamora and West Harlan.

Police said a driver took off after hitting the pedestrian. The victim was found lying in the roadway with major injuries.

The victim was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition.

There was no description of the vehicle or driver involved in the crash.

Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
