Woman Killed in San Antonio Car Accident on Interstate 410 and Honeysuckle

San Antonio, Texas (June 11, 2019) – A woman was killed and two officers injured in a car accident on Sunday morning in San Antonio, as per a local news source.

The crash was reported at about 3:30 a.m. June 9, on Interstate 410 and Honeysuckle.

Authorities said a truck which was traveling on Interstate 410 hit a Castle Hill police vehicle. One officer tried to avoid getting hit by jumping over the wall and fell onto Frontage Road.

One woman was struck by the vehicle and killed at the scene of the crash.

Two police officers were injured and taken to University Hospital in serious condition.

Two other men who jumped over the wall to avoid being hit were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No further details on the crash were immediately available.
