New Mexico Woman Samantha Fleming Hurt in Odessa Pedestrian Crash on 5th and Dixie

Odessa, Texas (May 17, 2019) – A New Mexico woman was struck and injured by a FedEx truck on Thursday morning in Odessa.

According to the Odessa Police Department, the crash took place on 5th and Dixie at about 9:30 a.m.

Police said Samantha Fleming, 37, of New Mexico, was trying to cross Dixie outside of a crosswalk when she was hit by the truck.

She was transported to a hospital in Lubbock with life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are currently investigating the incident.
