Roger Dale Grizzard Dies in Hockley County Car Accident on US 62 and Foster Road

Hockley County, Texas (May 27, 2019) – A man was killed and two others injured when a car collided with a pickup truck at an intersection in Hockley County on Saturday night, according to a local news source.

The wreck happened on US 62 and Foster Road on Saturday, May 25.

According to the news source, Roger Dale Grizzard, 72, of Weatherford was operating a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse when he turned from Foster Road onto US 62 and was hit by a pickup truck traveling northeast on US 62.

Grizzard was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Two passengers in Grizzard’s car were both taken to UMC with incapacitating injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are investigating the incident.
