San Antonio Police Officer Injured in San Antonio Car Crash on Huebner and Vance Jackson

San Antonio, Texas (May 18, 2019)  – A police officer was injured in a head-on collision late Thursday night in San Antonio, according to the authorities.

The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. May 16, on Huebner and Vance Jackson.

According to the report, a sedan pulled into the intersection and hit a San Antonio police patrol car stopped at a red light.

The police officer in the patrol vehicle was transported to a hospital for treatment and was expected to be ok.

The other driver was unhurt.

Police said intoxication was unlikely a factor in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
