27-Year-Old Michael Corrigan Dies in Fort Worth Pedestrian Crash on Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway

Fort Worth, Texas (April 17, 2019) – A 27-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver who fled the scene after the incident on Thursday morning in Fort Worth.

According to the Fort Worth police, the collision occurred at about 6 a.m. Thursday, April 11, in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway.

Police said Michael Corrigan, 27, was walking in the area when a vehicle hit him and the driver fled the scene.

Corrigan was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

There was no description on the driver or vehicle involved. Police are searching for the suspect and anyone who has any information is asked to call the police department at 817-392-4885.
