Man Dies in McAllen Pedestrian Crash on Bicentennial Boulevard
McAllen, Texas (April 14, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Saturday morning in McAllen, police said.
The crash, which occurred on Bicentennial Boulevard, happened at about 2:00 a.m. April 13.
According to the investigators, a driver fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian. Emergency crews responded and located a victim lying dead in the roadway.
The victim’s identity was not immediately available.
Police said they have arrested a suspect in connection with the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
