Bicycle Rider Critically Hurt in Port Arthur Crash with Vehicle on Memorial Boulevard

Port Arthur, Texas (April 15, 2019) – A man riding a bicycle sustained major injuries after he was involved in a crash with a vehicle on Sunday night in Port Arthur.

According to a report by the Port Arthur Police Department, officers responded at around 9:28 p.m. April 14, to the collision in the 2600 block of Memorial Boulevard.

The officers located a 70-year-old Port Artur man suffering from significant injuries. The victim was rushed to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The events leading up to the collision are currently under investigation.
