23-Year-Old Man Hurt in Nacogdoches Pedestrian Crash on South Street

Nacogdoches, Texas (May 4, 2019) – A man was left in critical condition following a hit-and-run pedestrian crash early Saturday morning in Nacogdoches, police said.

The collision took place in the 3200 block of South Street.

Police said a 23-year-old man was trying to cross South Street when a southbound vehicle hit him. The driver stayed at the scene. A second driver also hit the pedestrian but fled the scene of the crash.

The victim was taken to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital with critical injuries.

The Nacogdoches Police Department is investigating the incident.
