Katherine Long and Joseph Wallace ID’d as Victims of Richardson Crash on Bush Turnpike 

Richardson, Texas (June 29, 2019) – 22-year-old Katherine Long and Joseph M. Wallace, 53, have been identified as the victims killed when two vehicles collided early Thursday morning in Richardson, police said.

The crash was reported at around 2:30 a.m. June 28, on the President George Bush Turnpike near Midway.

Authorities said Long was driving a Honda Civic when he made a U-turn on the westbound lane and continued in the wrong direction before colliding with a black Ford Taurus driven by Wallace.

Long was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while Wallace was taken to Medical City Plano, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The incident is still under investigation.
