Jesus Octavio, Alfredo Payan and Kimberly Rodriguez Injured in Odessa Car Crash on 56th Street and Faudree
Odessa, Texas (May 23, 2019) – Three drivers were injured in an accident involving multiple vehicles last Friday in Odessa, according to the Odessa police and fire rescue.
The crash took place on Friday, May 17, on 56th Street and Faudree.
Police said a Ford Mustang, driven by 27-year-old Kimberly Rodriguez, was traveling east along 56th Street at a high rate of speed when she ran a stop sign and struck three other vehicles. The driver of a GMC Sierra, Jesus Octavio, 27, Alfredo Payan, 32, the driver of a Ford F-150 and the driver of a white Chevrolet Tahoe, identified as Yisel Acuna, 28, were all involved in the crash.
Rodriguez was transported to Medical Center Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Octavio and Payan were taken to Medical Centre Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Acuna was unhurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
