1 Injured in Hopkins County Train Collision on County Road 4719

Hopkins County, Texas (June 18, 2019) – A crash between a truck and a train left one person hospitalized on Tuesday morning in Hopkins County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash occurred at around 10:30 a.m. at County Road 4719, north of I-30 service road.

DPS said the pickup truck came to rest in a grassy area after the impact.

One occupant of the truck was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
