Four Injured in New Braunfels Car Crash on Interstate 35

New Braunfels, Texas (April 28, 2019) – Four people were injured in a multi-car collision early Sunday morning in New Braunfels, according to police.

The crash occurred on Interstate 35 northbound shortly after 3 a.m.

Police said a Nissan Sentra traveling in the center lane was going at a high rate of speed when it collided with a Dodge van. The Nissan was then hit by a Ford F-150.

The Nisan driver, a 23-year-old man from New Braunfels, sustained critical injuries and was rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

The 46-year-old Kentucky woman who was driving the Dodge along with her two passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were all taken to Resolute Health Hospital in New Braunfels.

No other injuries were reported.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
