22-Year-Old Eduardo Cardozo Dies in Orange County Big Rig Crash on I-10

Orange County, Texas (May 11, 2019) – A 22-year-old man died after an accident where he collided with a big rig on Thursday afternoon in Orange County, DPS said.

The wreck happened at about 3:30 p.m. May 9, on Interstate 10, near FM 1442.

DPS said Eduardo Cardozo, 22, of Orange, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro eastbound on Interstate 10 when the vehicle hydroplaned and crashed into the rear of a commercial motor vehicle.

Cardozo was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was unhurt.

The DPS is conducting an investigation into the incident.
