Man Killed in Travis County Tractor-Trailer Crash on Highway 290 and Shallow Ford Drive
Travis County, Texas (May 24, 2019) – A man was killed in a fatal collision involving a big rig early Friday morning in western Travis County, according to a local news source.
The crash, which occurred at about 1 a.m., happened on Highway 290 and Shallow Ford Drive.
The authorities said a Toyota 4 Runner and a tractor-trailer were involved in the collision.
One man who was riding in one of the involved vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Only one lane in each direction of Highway 290 were open as crews worked to clear the scene.
