Abram Vega Killed in El Paso Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 10

El Paso, Texas (April 19, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic collision that occurred in El Paso early Friday morning has been identified as Abram Vega, 26, according to the El Paso police.

The wreck happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Interstate 10 at the Reynolds ramp.

Police said a motorcycle driven by Vega and a vehicle were involved. Vega was eastbound on I-10 when he struck the center median and was ejected into the left traffic lane. As he was trying to get out of the left lane, he was struck by a vehicle.

Vega was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash caused a closure of I-10 East at Copia as the scene was examined and cleared.

The El Paso Police Department is investigating the collision.
