Jesse Merchant Arrested after Grand Prairie Crash on N. Belt Line Road
Grand Prairie, Texas (May 27, 2019) – A driver was arrested following a crash between two vehicles on Saturday evening in Grand Prairie, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened on N. Belt Line Road at about 7:50 p.m. May 25.
Police said a man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on N. Belt Line Road when he slammed into a pickup truck that made a turn into a gas station.
The rider sustained major injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Police arrested the pickup truck driver on charges of manslaughter and driving without a license. The driver was identified as 30-year-old Jesse Merchant.
The crash is under investigation.
