Woman Airlifted after Jack County Motorcycle Crash on US 281

Jack County, Texas (May 4, 2019) – A collision between two motorcycles left two riders injured on Friday afternoon in Jack County, according to a DPS report.

The incident took place on southbound US 281 near TX-16 on Friday, May 3.

DPS said four motorcyclists were traveling southbound on US 281 when two of them were involved in a collision. The impact pushed one of the motorcycles off the side and into a ditch, ejecting the two occupants.

A female passenger sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. The male rider was treated for minor injuries.

According to the report, the wet roads may have played a role in the collision.

The incident is under investigation.
