Two Injured in Denton Pedestrian Accident on Mulberry and Welch Streets

Denton, Texas (May 11, 2019) – Two pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle on Friday morning in Denton, according to the authorities.

The incident happened at Mulberry and Welch streets on Friday, May 10.

Police said a suspected DUI driver crashed into two pedestrians at the intersection.

One victim was transported to a hospital in Denton and was expected to make full recovery. The other pedestrian declined medical attention, police said.

The driver of the vehicle involved was arrested and charged with intoxication assault.
