One Injured in San Angelo Traffic Accident on Sherwood Way

San Angelo, Texas (May 17, 2019) – Three people were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon in San Angelo, according to the San Angelo Police department.

The wreck happened in the 5500 block of Sherwood Way on Thursday, May 16.

Police said a blue and silver Chevy Silverado was going west on Sherwood Way when it tried to turn left into the Walmart parking lot and was hit on the passenger side by a newer model Silverado. The impact pushed the newer Chevy into a Ford Expedition.

One person was transported to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

It’s unclear in which vehicle the injured party was riding in.

Police cited the driver of the blue Silverado for failure to yield to the right of way.
