One Injured in Garland Multi-Vehicle Crash at N. 1st Street and N. Walnut Street

Garland, Texas (May 2, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a crash involving a Garland ISD School bus on Thursday, according to the authorities.

The crash happened near N. 1st Street and N. Walnut Street.

Authorities said seven vehicles, including the bus and an 18-wheeler, were involved in the crash. A preliminary investigation showed that a big rig was making a turn when it was hit at the intersection. The impact caused the bus to overturn.

One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

No students were onboard the school bus at the time of the crash.

The incident is under investigation.
